Wingspan :   M & F, 17-23mm.

Habitat

Favours damp woodland.

Foodplant

Dead leaves.

Lifestage data

Case-bearing. Eggs are laid on flowers (possibly bluebell). Larva forms a flat pear shaped portable case from dead leaves from which it will feed. Pupa formed inside the case.
